Chef Love's Woodshed Smokehouse - Tim Love, listed as the official chef of Austin City Limits, creates food that is perfect for the festival goer. His Elk Sausage from last year's fest was a favorite of mine. This year we are excited to see he has new options: Rabbit & Rattlesnake Sausage, Elk & Beehive Cheddar Sausage and Truffled Mac n Cheese are the most interesting.
Chi'lantro - Their Kimchi Fries were a hit last year. I would love to give their BBQ tacos a try.
La Condesa - This is the first year for the popular downtown restaurant to serve at the fest. I have enjoyed Mexican Street Corn in their restaurant, so I know it will be good, but I would like to try their Spicy Sausage Roll.
Noble Sandwich Co. - Which will happen first? The opening of their Burnet Road restaurant or Weekend 1 of ACL? Either way, I would like to see about the Italian Pork Roast Sandwich or the Thai Chicken Wrap. This is another first timer at Austin Eats.
The Peached Tortilla - I have been dying to check out this über popular food truck (pictured above), but haven't had a chance. No more excuses. Both the BBQ Brisket Taco and the Banh Mi Pork Belly Tacos look great. Maybe a Thai Summer Salad to keep things light.
The Seedling Truck - Another great trailer that I have yet to experience. I will need to sample the Roasted goat tostada w/ pickled red onions, sour cream & cilantro or perhaps the Short rib and gruyere grilled cheese with peppernata jam.
The Mighty Cone - It wouldn't be ACL without at least one cone. They are all good, but I tend to favor the shrimp or chicken with avocado. I might need to check out their Venison Sausage Wrap.
