Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden - A Crawfish Boil is happening Saturday, April 18 starting at 12:00 p.m. featuring crawfish, corn on the cob, button mushrooms and new potatoes ($15 per plate), plus music all day with Tyler Jordon, Boxcar Preachers and more. All ages welcome. I suspect there will be beer, too.
Dai Due - Crawfish has been part of the menu on Wednesday evenings for two weeks now, and should continue while the season lasts. Last week the boil consisted of crawfish with artichokes, asparagus, sweet spring carrots, and fresh peas, served with grilled green garlic bread and aioli. Reservations are recommended.
Hyde Park Grill South - Every weekend in April there is a crawfish boil at the Westgate location 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., while supplies last.
Josephine House - A Rosé Gathering on Sunday, April 19, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Plentiful tastings of both still and sparkling rosés, a buffet of springtime fare, and tunes from Rerun of Breakaway Records. $55/person (excluding tax and gratuity). Lenoir - This 3rd annual crawfish boil is all for a good cause. Sunday, May 3, 1:00-4:00 p.m., Lenoir (in the garden) is hosting along with Tipsy Texan and L Style/G Style to support Urban Roots. Quick Draw Photo Booth & Karaoke will also sponsor, live music provided by Huck Johnson and the Jackknives. Purchase $25 tickets online here. A limited amount of tickets for purchase at the door for $30, drinks and raffle tickets will be available at the door, too.
Ramen Tatsu-ya - Not a crawfish boil per se, but they are "working on a special ramen with crawfish" according to their Facebook post. Check with each location to see when it will be offered.
Sway - Thai New Year, Songkran, is upon us and Sway is celebrating with special menu items like grilled Dewberry Farms chicken heart skewers, Thai fish cakes, green mango salad, salt + pepper Louisiana alligator, xo king crab legs and steamed purple potato cake. Available April 12-18 from 5:00 p,m. to close.
Whisler's - The east side's answer to crawfish. Their event happens Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. The event is free which means no cover and crawfish is free while it lasts, so get there on time. Music from Boss Street Brass Band starts at 5:00 p.m. Sangria, Bloody Marys, mimosas, spring cocktails and East Side King Thai Kun also available for purchase.
