2 cups of Balconies Rumble (whiskey)
1 cup mint simple syrup
Mint sprigs for garnish
Recipe for mint simple syrup: Muddle half cup mint leaves in saucepan. Heat water and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add mint leaves, take pot off burner cover and let soak for 30 minutes or until cooled. Strain the mint from the simple syrup. Drink: In a pitcher mix simple syrup and whiskey. Prepare julep cups with ice and pack it down. Pour drink into cups and garnish with a triple mint leaf to symbolize the triple crown. (Serves 5-6 small juleps).
