We ordered a few drinks from the beer and wine menus and split a fresh mixed salad to start the meal. For entrée, I ordered the Beef Bourguignon with Texas brisket, glazed autumn vegetables, red wine, demi glace, and a buttered baguette. It was rich and filling with layers of deep flavor. My husband had the Shrimp Provençal with nice-sized shrimp, tomato, Italian sausage, calabrian chili, confit garlic, basil and a baguette crouton. He was so completely immersed in his dish that I was unable to get even a small bite. He assured me I missed out. Even though we were totally satisfied at this point, we decided to be reckless and shared a Mocha Creme Brûlée. This was a largish serving (surely meant for two) that was creamy, rich and a delightful cap to the meal.
