How to celebrate the last weekend in June? Try one of Austin's newest and hottest restaurants, Alcomar. I stopped by one evening last weekend with friends and enjoyed their namesake margarita. It is made with Dulce Vida reposado, Damiana liqueur, grilled pineapple, lime and Bolivian pink salt on the rim. Very smooth and balanced, there is something about the grilled pineapple that is unexpected, yet works so well. Alcomar's happy hour happens every day 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., or stop by for brunch when their cocktail menu expands even further. Enjoy the first official full weekend of summer.
