Tom Kha Gai: Chicken, lemongrass, kefir lime leaves, galanga, fresh lime juice, Thai chilies, fish sauce, coconut milk and mushrooms. Topped generously with cilantro and green onions. This was a wonderfully flavorful and fragrant soup with the smooth aftertaste of distinctive lemongrass.
Pad Prik King Goong: Shrimp with green beans and kaffir lime leaves stir-fried in a dry red curry (dry curry meaning not cooked with coconut milk). The shrimp in this tangy stir fry were fat and juicy.
Tofu and Basil: Tofu with assorted vegetables, garlic, Thai holy basil and peppers (from the backyard). This was described as a little spicy. We found it to be very spicy, but my husband and I loved it. My son took one bite and decided it was too hot, so it may not be for everyone. I couldn’t stop eating it even though my mouth was on fire. I will be ordering from My Thai Mom again soon. (Cathy)
