Happily, I was not in charge of ordering. I was able to sample just about each pizza as it came out. This is what I was able to piece together about what we ate after looking at the menu online. The Carnivore is cheese, pepperoni, natural casing pepperoni, deli sliced ham, pinched hot Italian sausage, and slices of bacon. Super meaty and satisfying. The Rocket is cheese, hot soppressta, baby arugula, and shaved parmesan. This was one of my favorites (I believe we ordered this one more than once). A great combination of ingredients and flavors. I am not sure if we had the The Four Cheese, which as the name suggests, is a special blend of four cheeses (no red sauce), or a special white pizza (they offer weekly specials). This was another hit--the cheesiness of the pizza was incredible. They do offer diary-free and gluten-free options for a small fee.
A return trip to Via 313 is definitely in order. I want to try the The Cadillac, which is gorgonzola, shaved proscuitto, fig preserves, shaved parmesan and balsamic glaze. My idea of absolute heaven. Another trailer is located at Violet Crown Social Hour on E. 6th Street. A brick and mortar location is due to open sometime in the new year. Much to look forward to in 2015.
